The Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, today (Monday) extended his congratulations to Mr Hui Cheung-kwok for his winning of a gold medal in the Tenpin Bowling (Men's Masters) Event in the 13th Asian Games.

In his congratulatory letter, Mr Tung said, "We are much heartened by your achievement. Hong Kong people are proud of your remarkable performance. I hope you will continue to do your best and bring honour to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region."

Mr Tung was pleased that for the first time Hong Kong had won two gold medals in the Asian Games. He encouraged other members of the Hong Kong Team to continue to work hard at their remaining events.
