South West Kowloon Outline Zoning Plan amended

The Town Planning Board today (Friday) announced an amendment to the draft South West Kowloon Outline Zoning Plan (OZP) (No.S/K20/5).

The amendment involves the rezoning of a section of Road P1 (south-bound) of about 1.69 hectares between Tonkin Street West and Yen Chow Street West from "Road" to "Comprehensive Development Area" ("CDA"). This will facilitate a commercial and residential development associated with the proposed West Rail Cheung Sha Wan Station at the adjacent CDA site of about three hectares as well as the provision of a public transport interchange.

The draft OZP (No.S/K20/6) incorporating the amendment is available for inspection until October 30 at the following offices:

Any person affected by the amendment may submit written objections to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board, 15th floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, Hong Kong on or before October 30, 1998.
