The Government will need to resume a portion of land and underground strata on Tanner Road and Tsat Tsz Mui Road, North Point to carry out congestion relief works for Quarry Bay Mass Transit Railway Station.

A notice in respect of the resumption is published in the Government gazette today(Friday).

The land and underground strata to be resumed are known and registered in the Land Registry as IL. 7555. RP and IL. 2919 RP in North Point.

The plan showing the affected area is now available for public inspection at the following offices:

* Public Enquiry Service Centre,

Central and Western District Office,

ground floor, Harbour Building,

38 Pier Road, Central;

* Public Enquiry Service Centre,

Eastern District Office,

ground floor, Eastern Law Courts Building,

29 Tai On Street, Sai Wan Ho; and

* District Lands Office/Hong Kong East,

19th floor, Southorn Centre,

130 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai.

Any person entitled to compensation under the Mass Transit Railway (Land Resumption and Related Provisions) Ordinance (Chapter 276) may send a written claim to the Director of Lands in accordance with the provisions of the ordinance.
