Police are investigting a burglary case in which about $3 million worth of gold ornaments were stolen from a jewellery shop in Causeway Bay this (Thursday) morning.

On returning to the jewellery shop at 501 Hennessy Road about 9 am, a staff member of the company found the shop ransacked.

He reported the case to the Police immediately.

Initial investigations revealed that a ventilation fan at the shop toilet was removed.

A quantity of gold ornaments Worth about $3 million was stolen.

Investigations by District Crime Squad, Wan Chai are on-going.
