Family fair for NTS

Some 500 staff and guests flocked to the New Territories South Family Day on March 25.

A top day's entertainment was had at the NTS Traffic Headquarters compound featuring lion dances, a police dog show, a karaoke competition and live music. This along with lucky draws, game stalls, a madcap clown to give the kids a giggle, and displays featuring a Saxon armoured vehicle, badge making, a police motorcycle and Force firearms. It also saw a mass buffet lunch followed by cool ice cream.

Senior officers from a host of the Region's Districts turned out along with Road Safety Patrol members. Regional Commander Keith Braithwaite, DRC Mak Man-poon and other guests were also on hand. The day's highlight came with dulcet tones of Superintendent Chan Pak-chi of NTS Traffic Headquarters leading the crowd into a singsong.
