The following is the transcript of a reply by the Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, to a question raised during a media session before his departure to Europe this morning:

Reporter: Mr Tung, during the visit do you expect you be asked about electoral reform in next year's poll and how will you answer to them?

Chief Executive: Well, I expect to be asked a whole lot of questions including the election next year. I will explain to them what we are doing in Hong Kong and how we are moving forward. The election should be fair and open.
