The HKSAR Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, has on July 1 made a declaration of interests to the Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal, Mr Andrew Li, who has put it on record.

This declaration is to comply with requirements under Article 47 of the Basic Law, which stipulates that the Chief Executive, on assuming office, shall declare his assets to the Chief Justice of the Court of Final Appeal.

Mr Tung declared and made public his interests together with Members of the HKSAR Executive Council in April this year.
