Sam Tung Uk Folk Museum
Built by Cham Yam Shing in 1786, the Museum is a typical example of a single clan Hakka walled village. Declared an historical monument, this is one of the four destinations featured on the HKTA's "Heritage Tour".
Cheuk Lam Sim Yuen
The name means "Bamboo Forest Monastery" and refers to the temple's original humble structure which was built entirely of bamboo. Visitors can see the buildings as part of the HTKA's "The Land Between Tour."
Yeun Yeun Institute
Located near Tsuen Wan new town, the Yeun Yeun Institute is dedicated to the three main religions practised in Hong Kong - Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. The central structure is an Imperial city replica.
Kam Tin Walled Village
A settlement of seven walled villages built in the late 17th century by Hakka migrants, the complex has a wrought iron entrance beyond which are narrow streets of stone buildings, souvenir stalls, a temple and an ancestral hall.
Lok Ma Chau
Situated in the northwestern New Territories, Lok Ma Chau is a hilltop lookout point overlooking the Shenzhen River, paddy fields, duck ponds and mainland China beyond.
