Monthly Normals of Rainfall Parameters at the Hong Kong Observertory for
the 30 Years 1961-1990 and Extreme Values for 1884-1939 & 1947-1997

This table contain two parts, totaly eleven columns. The first column is
the month of the year.
All rainfall and duration are measured in millimetres and hours respectively.
In part one (in the second to sixth column), you can find the total rainfall,
maximum daily fainfall, maximum hourly rainfall, duration (includes rainfall
< 0.05mm) and number of days with measurable rain (excludes daily
rainfall < 0.05mm) for each month.
In part two (seventh to eleventh column), you can find the number of hourly
observations with rainfall amounts larger than and equal to 10, 20, 30,
40 and 50 mm/hr separately for each month.
