HKMA Quarterly Bulletin (September 2008 Issue)

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) today (Wednesday) published the September 2008 issue of its Quarterly Bulletin.

This Quarterly Bulletin contains two feature articles:

• Rising Food Prices in Asia and Implications for Monetary Policy–discussing issues and challenges related to the appropriate monetary policy response to current increases in food prices.
   

• Impact of IPO Activities on the Hong Kong-Dollar Interbank Market–presenting the results of a study analysing and quantifying the impact of IPO activities on interbank interest rates.
