Dr Liu Jinbao: Membership of Advisory Committees relating to the HKMA The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has today (Friday) received a letter from Dr Liu Jinbao tendering his resignation as a member of the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee with effect from 28 May 2003. Dr Liu's membership of the Banking Advisory Committee was by virtue of his bank's being a continuing member of the Committee of the Hong Kong Association of Banks and himself being his bank's designated representative of the Committee. Following Dr Liu's transfer out of Hong Kong, Bank of China Hong Kong (Holdings) Limited designated, on 29 May 2003, Mr He Guangbei to serve as representative in his place.
