Dr The Hon. David LI Kwok-po, LLD, GBS, JP Dr Li is the Chairman of The Chinese Banks' Association Limited and the Hong Kong Management Association. He is a Member of the Banking Advisory Committee and the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee. Dr Li is also the Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce - Hong Kong, China. He is a Member of the Legislative Council and the Executive Council of Hong Kong. Dr Li joined the Bank of East Asia Limited in 1969. He was appointed a Director in 1977, Chief Executive in 1981, Deputy Chairman in 1995 and Chairman in 1997. Dr Li is a Director of PCCW Limited, China Merchants China Direct Investments Limited, China Overseas Land & Investment Limited, COSCO Pacific Limited, Dow Jones & Company Inc., Guangdong Investment Limited, The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels Limited, Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited, The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited, San Miguel Brewery Hong Kong Limited, SCMP Group Limited and Vitasoy International Holdings Limited. Dr Li serves on the international advisory boards of Carlos P. Romulo Foundation for Peace and Development, Daimler-Chrysler AG, Edelman, Federal Reserve Bank of New York's International Advisory Committee, and Lafarge. Updated on 14 November 2005
