Templates for the Survey on exposure to non-bank Chinese entities

Further to our letter of 3 February 1999, I am writing to inform you that the templates for submission of the survey on exposure to non-bank Chinese entities will be available for your collection on 12 February 1999.

A soft copy of the templates will be sent to authorized institutions currently using the STET system for return submission by E-mail through the STET system. Authorized institutions currently not using the STET system are requested to arrange to collect a diskette of the templates by presenting the bearer letter (Annex) duly completed to the Public Registry of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority ("HKMA") at 29/F, Asia Pacific Finance Tower, 3 Garden Road, Hong Kong.

For STET users, the completed templates should be returned by E-mail through the STET system. For diskette users, the diskette together with a hard copy of the completed survey form should be returned by hand to the Public Registry of the HKMA. Please note that the deadline for submission of this survey is 12 March 1999.
