United Nations Sanctions (Liberia) Regulation 2005

I am writing to inform you that an updated list of relevant persons and entities has been designated under section 39 of the United Nations Sanctions (Liberia) Regulation 2005.  The list was published in the Gazette (G.N. 8483) on 28 December 2007 and is available on the Government’s website (http://www.gov.hk).  You may refer to the press release issued by the United Nations Security Council Committee on 29 November 2007 (Annex) for details of the changes.

You are reminded to check your records and report any transactions or relationships your institution has or has had with the named persons or entities to the Joint Financial Intelligence Unit and the HKMA.
