Dear Sir/Madam, Quarterly Survey of Participation
in the The latest results of the above survey indicate that by the end of 2005, AIs engaged in lending to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) have sought consent from more than 99% of their SME customers. Moreover, over 97% of those responding SMEs have given their consent. In view of this, we consider that the survey has achieved its objective of ensuring best efforts on the part of AIs in seeking customer consent. To lessen the reporting burden of AIs, we propose to discontinue the subject survey. If AIs have any different views, please let me know by the end of March 2006.
Yours faithfully,
Raymond Li
