Review of Regulatory Reporting

Further to our letter of 27 February 2004, we are writing to inform you that the new templates of the STET system for the submission of the revised returns are now available for downloading at the HKMA's private web-site (http://www.hkfin.net/download/index.htm). Please be reminded that the revised set of regulatory returns and completion instructions will come into effect for the positions as of March 2004 and the first reporting deadline will fall on 14 April 2004.

You are encouraged to have the new STET templates installed as soon as possible. For any queries regarding the STET templates, please feel free to contact the STET helpdesk at 2878-1800.
