Quarterly Survey of Participation in the CCRA

We refer to our letter of 11 September 2003 regarding the captioned survey. Since there is already a consent clause in hire purchase agreements, it is not necessary for AIs to seek the consent of hire purchase customers, which are SMEs, in reporting their data to the CCRA. To minimize the reporting burden, AIs need not include SME customers with only hire purchase facilities in the captioned survey.
