Section 87 of the Companies Ordinance - Notice to Registrar of Appointment of receiver or manager, or of mortgagee taking possession

The Registrar of Companies has observed an increasing trend of breaches of section 87 of the Companies Ordinance by financial institutions including authorized institutions. I am writing to remind institutions of the need to comply with the requirements stipulated under that section, a copy of which is enclosed with this letter.
