Quarterly Analysis of Loans and Advances and Provisions ("Quarterly Analysis") In order to have a better understanding of individual institutions’ exposure to different industry sectors included in item D of Part I of the Quarterly Analysis of Loans and Advances and Provisions (form MA(BS)2A), your institution is required to provide the Hong Kong Monetary Authority with supplementary information for that item on the form attached to this letter. The supplementary information is to be submitted on a quarterly basis at the same time when the Quarterly Analysis is submitted. The first submission is for the position as at 31 December 2000. We are in the course of designing the standard templates to facilitate completion and submission of the attached form through the STET system. The template will be e-mailed to you in due course.
