Mass Transit Railway Ordinance - Consequential Amendments to the Banking Ordinance

Further to our letter of 23 March 2000, we write to inform you that a notice will be gazetted by the Secretary for Transport today to designate 30 June 2000 as the appointed day for the purposes of the Mass Transit Railway Ordinance. Your attention is drawn to the consequential amendments to the Banking Ordinance which will be effective on the same day. These amendments are outlined in our letter of 23 March, a copy of which is attached for your reference.
