AT 1 P.M. AT THE HONG KONG OBSERVATORY THE AIR TEMPERATURE
WAS 27 DEGREES CELSIUS AND THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY 88 PER
CENT.
DURING THE PAST HOUR THE MEAN UV INDEX RECORDED AT KING'S
PARK WAS 4. THE INTENSITY OF UV RADIATION WAS MODERATE.


 
THE BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OVER THE NORTHERN PART OF
THE SOUTH CHINA SEA IS BRINGING UNSETTLED WEATHER TO THE
REGION. ACCORDING TO THE PRESENT FORECAST, THIS AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE WILL EDGE GRADUALLY TOWARDS THE COAST OF WESTERN
GUANGDONG IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AND INTENSIFY
SLIGHTLY. LOCALLY, THERE WILL BE OCCASIONAL SHOWERS AND
SQUALLY THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. SHOWERS
WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES. THE OBSERVATORY WILL CLOSELY
MONITOR THE MOVEMENT OF THE BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE.
