LOCAL WEATHER FORECAST

HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
THE SUBTROPICAL RIDGE COVERING SOUTHEASTERN CHINA IS
EXTENDING WESTWARDS GRADUALLY. MEANWHILE, SHOWERS
ASSOCIATED WITH THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION OVER BEIBU WAN ARE
AFFECTING GUANGDONG.


 
AT 8 P.M., THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION WAS CENTRED ABOUT 290
KILOMETRES SOUTHEAST OF HANOI. IT IS FORECAST TO MOVE
WEST-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 25 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS BEIBU
WAN TOWARDS THE NORTHERN PART OF VIETNAM.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW


 
ISOLATED SHOWERS. CLOUDY PERIODS OVERNIGHT WITH A MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE OF ABOUT 28 DEGREES. MAINLY FINE TOMORROW AND
VERY HOT DURING THE DAY. THE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE WILL BE
AROUND 33 DEGREES IN THE URBAN AREAS, AND A COUPLE OF
DEGREES HIGHER IN THE NEW TERRITORIES. MODERATE
SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS, OCCASIONALLY FRESH AT FIRST.


 
OUTLOOK : MAINLY FINE AND VERY HOT IN THE FOLLOWING FEW
DAYS.
