HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
GENERAL SITUATION


THE MONSOON DEPRESSION OVER CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PARTS OF
THE SOUTH CHINA SEA BROUGHT SHOWERS TO THE COAST OF
GUANGDONG YESTERDAY. LOCALLY, THERE WERE SUNNY PERIODS AND
A FEW SHOWERS. THE WEATHER WAS VERY HOT IN THE AFTERNOON.
TEMPERATURES OVER MANY PLACES ROSE TO 34 DEGREES OR ABOVE.
THE MONSOON DEPRESSION IS EXPECTED TO MOVE TOWARDS THE
VICINITY OF HAINAN ISLAND TO BEIBU WAN IN THE NEXT FEW
DAYS. IT MAY FURTHER DEVELOP. THE MONSOON DEPRESSION WILL
BRING WINDY WEATHER, SQUALLY HEAVY SHOWERS, THUNDERSTORMS
AND SWELLS OVER THE SOUTH CHINA COAST IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR HONG KONG


 
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH OCCASIONAL SQUALLY SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS. TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 26 AND 31
DEGREES. MODERATE TO FRESH EASTERLY WINDS, OCCASIONALLY
STRONG OFFSHORE AND ON HIGH GROUND.


 
OUTLOOK : IT WILL BE WINDY WITH SWELLS, HEAVY SQUALLY
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN THE FOLLOWING FEW DAYS.
