HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.


 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE AFFECTING THE VICINITY OF THE
PEARL RIVER ESTUARY. LOCALLY, HEAVY SHOWERS THIS MORNING
GENERALLY BROUGHT MORE THAN 30 MILLIMETRES OF RAINFALL TO
THE TERRITORY.


 
AT NOON, SUPER TYPHOON TRAMI WAS CENTRED ABOUT 1160
KILOMETRES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF GAOXIONG. IT IS FORECAST TO
MOVE WEST-NORTHWEST AT ABOUT 15 KILOMETRES PER HOUR ACROSS
THE WESTERN NORTH PACIFIC.


 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT


 
MAINLY CLOUDY WITH OCCASIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.
SHOWERS WILL BE HEAVY IN SOME AREAS AT FIRST. MODERATE
EASTERLY WINDS, FRESH AT TIMES LATER.


 
OUTLOOK : STILL SOME SHOWERS AT FIRST TOMORROW. BECOMING
FINE AND DRY WITH RELATIVELY LARGE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN DAY AND NIGHT IN THE FOLLOWING COUPLE OF DAYS.
