LOCAL WEATHER FORECAST

HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED BY THE HONG KONG
OBSERVATORY.
 
THE RAINBANDS ASSOCIATED WITH SEVERE TROPICAL STORM HATO
ARE AFFECTING GUANGDONG AND THE NORTHERN PART OF THE SOUTH
CHINA SEA.
 
AT 9 P.M., HATO WAS ESTIMATED TO BE ABOUT 270 KILOMETRES
EAST OF NANNING AND IS FORECAST TO MOVE WEST-NORTHWEST AT
ABOUT 25 KILOMETRES PER HOUR FURTHER INLAND AND WEAKEN
GRADUALLY.
 
WEATHER FORECAST FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW
 
CLOUDY. SQUALLY SHOWERS AT FIRST. SHOWERS WILL EASE OFF
GRADUALLY TOMORROW. TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 26 AND
31 DEGREES. MODERATE TO FRESH SOUTH TO SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS,
OCCASIONALLY STRONG OFFSHORE AT FIRST. THERE WILL BE SWELLS
AT FIRST.
