Fatal traffic accident in Yuen Long

At about 5.04pm, a motorcycle driven by the 50-year-old man was travelling along Long Tin Road towards Yuen Long Highway. When approaching Wang Tat Road, it reportedly lost control and rammed into the railings.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to Pok Oi Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 6.05pm.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is underway.
