Home Affairs Department launches free Pilot Scheme on Advisory Services to Owners' Corporations
******************************************************************************************
The Home Affairs Department (HAD) today (May 2) launched a six-month free Pilot Scheme on Advisory Services to Owners' Corporations (the Pilot Scheme) to further enhance support for owners' corporations (OCs).

Under the Pilot Scheme, the HAD has engaged a property management company to provide OCs with free advisory services, including assistance in tackling building management issues in accordance with the Building Management Ordinance, relevant Codes of Practice and Guidelines; advice on procedural matters for conducting OC meetings; and assistance in applying for building management-related support services and subsidies.

The services will be provided to eligible OCs on referral by District Offices. The main targets of the Pilot Scheme are OCs newly formed or with newly elected management committees.

To learn more about the Pilot Scheme, please visit the HAD's dedicated website on building management or contact the District Building Management Liaison Team of respective District Offices.
