CE to attend Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference

     The Chief Executive, Mrs Carrie Lam, will visit Hainan from April 8 to 10 to attend the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2018. The theme of this year's conference is "An Open and Innovative Asia for a World of Greater Prosperity". The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Patrick Nip, and the Director of the Chief Executive's Office, Mr Chan Kwok-ki, will join the visit. 

     Mrs Lam will speak at a discussion session on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area and meet Hong Kong student volunteers at the annual conference on April 9. She will attend the opening ceremony of the annual conference on April 10. While in Hainan, Mrs Lam will also attend other sessions of the annual conference and meet with the leaders of various provinces and cities.

     Mrs Lam will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon on April 10. During her absence, the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, will be Acting Chief Executive.
