Fatal traffic accident in Tin Sum

At about 7.05pm, a private car driven by a 57-year-old man was travelling along Lion Rock Tunnel Road towards Kowloon. When approaching near Sun Tin Wai Estate, it reportedly lost control and crashed into the railing.
Without superficial injury, the 57-year-old driver was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 7.46pm. Four female passengers aged 35 to 63 were also injured and sent to Prince of Wales Hospital in conscious state.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.
