Roving exhibition of Floating Solar Power System Photography Competition winning entries starts tomorrow (with photos)
******************************************************************************************
Members of the public are invited to view the winning entries in the Water Supplies Department (WSD)'s Floating Solar Power System Photography Competition in a roving exhibition to be held from tomorrow (March 14) to June 23 at various venues across the territory.

The photography competition was held from October to December last year with over 1 000 entries received. All entries had to feature the scenery of Shek Pik Reservoir or Plover Cove Reservoir and the floating solar power systems installed at the reservoirs. The winning entries include shots of the floating solar power systems taken from different angles in the daytime, the evening and under the starry night with excellent photography skills, demonstrating the beauty of the harmonious integration of green technologies and natural scenery.

In addition to showcasing the 11 winning entries of the photography competition (comprising one champion, two first runners-up, three second runners-up and five merit awards), there are also display panels at the roving exhibition providing information on the floating solar power systems installed at Shek Pik Reservoir and Plover Cove Reservoir. The WSD installed two small-scale floating solar power systems at Shek Pik Reservoir and Plover Cove Reservoir last year as pilot projects to explore the potential of using floating solar power systems on reservoirs.
