Fatal traffic accident in North Point

At about 6.21pm yesterday, a taxi driven by the 47-year-old man was travelling along Island Eastern Corridor towards Chai Wan. When approaching Watson Road, it reportedly lost control and rammed into a kerb.
The driver was rushed to Ruttonjee Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 7.35pm yesterday.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island is underway.
