Statement by ExCo Non-official Members on the traffic accident on Tai Po Road

The Non-official Members of the Executive Council (ExCo) are deeply saddened and shocked by the traffic accident on Tai Po Road happened yesterday evening (February 10), in which a number of citizens died and many more injured. The ExCo Non-official Members express their deepest condolences to the bereaved families of those who passed away and hope for the speedy recovery of the other injured citizens. They believe that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government would render all possible assistance to their families.
The ExCo Non-official Members fully support the relevant government departments to take forward all follow-up actions to find out the cause of the accident and avoid the recurrence of similar incidents.
