Fee adjustment for Transport Department licensing services

The fee items to be revised are as follows:
(1) Fee for registration of a motor vehicle / trailer;
(2) Fee for duplicate vehicle licence for a rickshaw;
(3) Fee for duplicate trade licence or permit;
(4) Annual licence fee for a rickshaw;
(5) Fee for excess passengers permit;
(6) Fee for movement permit;
(7) Fee for long load permit;
(8) Fee for wide load permit;
(9) Fee for advertising vehicle permit; and
(10) Fee for expressway permit.
A TD spokesman said that the Legislative Council Panel on Transport was consulted on the proposed revision of fees in May. The Road Traffic (Registration and Licensing of Vehicles) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulation 2017, which set out the revised fees, has been passed by the Legislative Council.
The adjusted fees of the 10 licensing services are listed in the Annex.
