The following is issued on behalf of the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research:

     With a view to creating and nurturing a conducive language learning environment for the people of Hong Kong, the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) has launched the Sponsorship Projects 2018/19 and is now inviting applications.

     With funding support from the Language Fund, the Sponsorship Projects aim at engaging community partners in organising language-related event- or competition-based projects in the community, thereby enriching the language environment of Hong Kong.

     Registered organisations, statutory bodies and recognised community organisations interested in the Sponsorship Projects 2018/19 may submit their application forms to SCOLAR by noon on January 23, 2018.
