TID to participate in SmartBiz Expo 2017

The SmartBiz Expo 2017, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), provides a one-stop platform showcasing the latest business innovation plans, applied technologies, operational support and more tailored for enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to explore trends in business upgrading through innovation, enhancing productivity and competitiveness, and grasping market opportunities.
As the strategic partner and a major exhibitor of the Expo, the TID will showcase its work and support services to SMEs at Booth 1B-G02. In addition, business consultants and professionals will be available to provide free one-on-one advisory services for SMEs on matters related to accounting, legal matters, marketing and setting up business. SMEs are welcome to visit the department's booth and make arrangements for meeting these experts.
During the Expo, the TID will also jointly hold with the HKTDC a two-day seminar series entitled "InnoTech for Branding - From Surviving to Growing" on December 7 and 8 in Seminar Room D, Hall 1B. Branding experts and representatives of renowned brands will speak at four seminars on how core innovative technologies and digital marketing solutions can help SMEs evolve, upgrade and develop their brands and business in the new era. Seminars on "Do You Truly Understand Online Marketing?" and "Branding with Virtual Reality" will be held from 11am to 12.15pm and from 2.30pm to 3.45pm respectively on December 7, while seminars on "Improving Business Image Through Business Efficiency" and "Big Data, Big Opportunities" will be held from 11.30am to 12.45pm and from 2.30pm to 3.45pm respectively on December 8.
The TID will also be the Strategic Partner of the Asian E-tailing Summit, a concurrent event to be held with the SmartBiz Expo on December 6. The Summit enables business professionals to network with renowned online retail experts, and to learn more about the latest sourcing trends and market intelligence, successful cases and best practices of e-tailing.
