Toddlers' puppet theatre "A Little Lamp, Pea And Feather" to be staged in January
*********************************************************************************
Ljubljana Puppet Theatre from Slovenia will perform "A Little Lamp, Pea And Feather", which is especially suitable for toddlers, in January. The production is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's "The Princess and the Pea".

Using the advice of experts on toddlers' visual perception, Ljubljana Puppet Theatre decorates the stage with vivid and bright colours. Combined with lullaby melodies and intriguing sound effects including little bells, harp playing and repetitive use of simple sounds, syllables and words, the toddlers are drawn into a fascinating world of fairy tales.

Ljubljana Puppet Theatre, formerly named City Puppet Theatre and established in 1948, stages puppet and drama performances mainly aimed at children and young people. Blending traditional puppetry with a variety of contemporary forms, the group has performed in more than 80 cities across 30 countries and has received many awards at international festivals.

Every two years, Ljubljana Puppet Theatre organises the Lutke International Puppet Festival and brings various foreign puppet productions to Slovenia. It also co-produces the Golden Stick Festival with the Slovenian Theatre Institute and Cankarjev dom, a biennial festival of performing arts for children and youth.
