SHA congratulates Hong Kong tenpin bowling team on winning gold medal

     The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Lau Kong-wah, today (December 4) sent his warmest congratulations to the Hong Kong tenpin bowling team representatives Wu Siu-hong, Michael Mak and Eric Tseng for winning a gold medal for the first time for Hong Kong in Men's Trios in the 2017 World Bowling Championships held in Las Vegas, the United States.

     Mr Lau said, "Wu Siu-hong, Michael Mak and Eric Tseng demonstrated excellent team spirit and performed at their best to win the gold medal. They created history for Hong Kong. We are very delighted and proud of their achievement."

     The achievements of the Hong Kong tenpin bowling team are encouraging. They have also won one silver medal and one bronze medal in the championships, namely a silver medal in Men's Doubles by Lau Kwun-ho and Eric Tseng, and a bronze medal in Women's Singles by Chan Shuk-han.
