The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Edward Yau, will visit Beijing tomorrow (November 14) to meet with officials of the National Development and Reform Commission, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Ministry of Commerce and the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council on matters relating to the Belt and Road Initiative and the portfolio of the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau.
SCED to visit Beijing
Mr Yau will return to Hong Kong in the evening on November 15. During Mr Yau's absence, the Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Dr Bernard Chan, will be the Acting Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development.
