The Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum will hold a fun day this Sunday (November 12). Offering a wide array of activities, the event aims to commemorate Dr Sun Yat-sen's birth as well as to enhance public knowledge of Dr Sun and the Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum. Members of the public are invited to participate and admission is free.

Visitors can take part in a variety of programmes including "Quick Sketch x Dr Sun Yat-sen", "Cosplay for Early Republican Period" and music performances.

In addition, a field trip themed "Central and Sheung Wan in Dr Sun Yat-sen's Time" will be held, while a workshop will be held to show participants how to make their own paper using recycled paper. Advance registration is required for these two activities as places are limited. If the number of applicants exceeds the quota, places will be allocated by ballot.

Visitors can also take the opportunity to visit the museum's permanent exhibitions and the special exhibition "A Matter of Record: Dr Sun Yat-sen in the Historical Archives". Exhibits include precious historical artefacts, replicas of historical documents and a wide range of audiovisual programmes, enabling visitors to learn more about the life and career of Dr Sun as well as the vital role of Hong Kong in the reform movements and revolutionary activities of the late Qing dynasty and early Republican era.
