The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:

     The Legislative Council (LegCo) Panel on Financial Affairs will hold a policy briefing tomorrow (October 20) at 9am in Conference Room 1 of the LegCo Complex to receive a briefing by the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury on the relevant policy initiatives in "The Chief Executive's 2017 Policy Address".

     Meanwhile, LegCo Finance Committee (FC) will hold two meetings tomorrow in Conference Room 1 of the LegCo Complex. The arrangements for the meetings will be as follows:

(a) the first FC meeting will start at 3.30pm; and

(b) the second FC meeting will start at 5.40pm if House Committee (HC) needs not resume its meeting after the first FC meeting.  If HC needs to resume its meeting after the first FC meeting, the second FC meeting will start immediately after the HC meeting has finished its business.
