Police Recruitment Day (with photos)

More than 2,500 applications were received in this recruitment exercise, similar to the application number of the same period last year. Applicants included graduates of local and overseas tertiary institutions and non-ethnic Chinese persons.
The Police Recruitment Day provides one-stop service to applicants, shortening the time required for the recruitment process. Successful applicants of this recruitment exercise would join the foundation training at Hong Kong Police College in December the earliest.
In addition, the Learning Technologies Division of Hong Kong Police College introduced on-site various self-developed training programmes incorporating modern learning technologies, including Virtual Reality and 3D Animation/ Simulation, to enhance applicants’ understanding on the professional training provided to police officers. The technologies have been integrated into various programmes, such as criminal investigation, command and control, and driving training. With enhanced training experience and interaction, learning effectiveness would be maximised.
The Force welcomes applications year-around, any person interested in applying for the posts of Probationary Inspector, Recruit Police Constable and Police Constable (Auxiliary) may complete the application form at Police website or mail the completed form to the Police Recruitment Division.
The Force will continue to adopt a proactive recruitment strategy and organise different kinds of recruitment events to attract high-calibre candidates to join the Force and serve the community.
