SFH attends WHO Western Pacific regional meeting (with photos)

     The Secretary for Food and Health, Professor Sophia Chan, today (October 9) attended the 68th session of the World Health Organization Regional Committee for the Western Pacific in Brisbane, Australia.

     More than 300 representatives from 37 member states and areas took part in the meeting. The Hong Kong SAR (China) delegation is led by Professor Chan and members include the Director of Health, Dr Constance Chan, and the Consultant (Special Preventive Programme) of the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health, Dr Kenny Chan.

     Professor Chan will arrive in Hong Kong tomorrow morning (October 10).
