London-based business consulting group extends its reach to Asia via Hong Kong

London-based business consulting group the Shirlaws Group announced today (October 6) that it has set up Shirlaws Asia in Hong Kong, as part of the Group’s expansion plan to grow its business in the region.
Shirlaws Asia aims to follow the successes of the Shirlaws Group in Australia, Europe and the United States by bringing its hybrid model of business coaching and advisory frameworks to emerging private enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region. It will also connect potential clients in Asia to the Shirlaws Group's vast network of business coaches, consultants, trainers and mentors across the world, according to the Group CEO, Ms Andrea Dean.
She said, "Hong Kong's business environment is thriving and growing. Emerging and developing business sectors such as FinTech and the Belt and Road Initiative are some examples of new opportunities that make Hong Kong a compelling place to engage and invest in. As we focus on helping businesses grow, we want to make a positive impact in these areas by sharing our experience, knowledge and research on how businesses grow within their many stages through Shirlaws Asia."
She added, "By setting up a presence in Hong Kong, we want to make the city our regional hub for the Group's future business in Asia, just as Hong Kong is an important hub to global financial and commercial businesses."
Associate Director-General of Investment Promotion Dr Jimmy Chiang said, "Hong Kong as Asia's regional business hub attracts many multinationals as well as small and medium-sized enterprises to set up their presence in the city, which has given rise to a broad range of opportunities for business service companies. Together with its vibrant start-up ecosystem, the city is the ideal place for the Shirlaws Group to expand in the region."
