Approved Tong Yan San Tsuen Outline Zoning Plan amended

The amendments mainly involve the rezoning of various sites, including to rezone a piece of land to the west of Long Tin Road and to the north of the Tong Yan San Tsuen Interchange from "Open Space", "Residential (Group B) 1" ("R(B)1") and area shown as "Road" to "Residential (Group A) 1"; a piece of land to the south of Tan Kwai Tsuen South Fresh Water Service Reservoir from "Green Belt" and "Government, Institution or Community" ("G/IC") to "Residential (Group A)2" to facilitate planned public housing developments; and a piece of land at Sha Tseng Road and two pieces of land to the south of Park Villa from "G/IC" to "R(B)1". Opportunity is also taken to amend the Notes and Explanatory Statement of the OZP to reflect the above amendments and to update the general information of various land use zonings where appropriate.
The draft Tong Yan San Tsuen OZP No. S/YL-TYST/11, incorporating the amendments, is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Tuen Mun and Yuen Long West District Planning Office, the Yuen Long District Office and the Ping Shan Rural Committee.
Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before November 29. Representations made to the Board will be available for public inspection.
Copies of the draft Tong Yan San Tsuen OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Board's website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
