SHA to visit Hangzhou and Ningbo

     The Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Lau Kong-wah, will leave Hong Kong in the morning on September 21 for Hangzhou. Accompanied by representatives from Hong Kong cultural organisations, Mr Lau will meet and exchange views with officials from the Ministry of Culture and Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture. He will attend the China-Central and Eastern European Countries Cultural Cooperation Forum as a member of the Chinese delegation on September 22.

     Mr Lau will depart for Ningbo on September 23 to attend the Lancang-Mekong Cultural Cooperation Forum as a member of the Chinese delegation. He will leave Ningbo in the afternoon on September 24 and return to Hong Kong. During his absence, the Under Secretary for Home Affairs, Mr Jack Chan, will be the Acting Secretary for Home Affairs.
