In stage 1, part of the first level of the underpass on Austin Road West and the western loop road near MTR Kowloon Station on Austin Road West will be opened from 7am this Sunday (September 17).

     After the opening of the new road sections, motorists should pay attention to the following traffic arrangements:

* Vehicles currently using the at-grade Austin Road West heading for Tsim Sha Tsui/MTR Kowloon Station will be diverted to the first level of the newly built underpass;

* Vehicles travelling to and from the car parks of some housing estates and the mall above MTR Kowloon Station will be diverted from the at-grade temporary road to the western loop road of Austin Road West.

     Motorists are advised to pay attention to the traffic signs to be erected on-site and drive with utmost care when driving through the road sections.
