Approved Pok Fu Lam Outline Zoning Plan amended
***********************************************
The Town Planning Board today (September 15) announced amendments to the approved Pok Fu Lam Outline Zoning Plan (OZP).

The amendments mainly involve the incorporation of an area excised from the western part of the approved Aberdeen & Ap Lei Chau OZP into the planning scheme area forming part of a site to the east of Shek Pai Wan Road; rezoning of five government sites, including a site between Pok Fu Lam Road and Victoria Road zoned "Open Space" ("O"), "Government, Institution or Community" ("G/IC") and "Green Belt" ("GB"), a site at Wah King Street zoned "O" and an area shown as "Road", a site at Wah Lok Path zoned "G/IC", the site to the east of Shek Pai Wan Road zoned "GB" and a site to the east of Pok Fu Lam Road zoned "GB" and "G/IC", to residential zones for public housing developments; and incorporation of "Public Vehicle Park (excluding container vehicle) (on land designated 'Residential (Group A)1' only)" as a Column 1 use of the "Residential (Group A)" zone. Opportunity is also taken to amend the Notes and Explanatory Statement of the OZP to reflect the above amendments and to update the general information of various land use zonings and the planning circumstances, where appropriate.

The draft Pok Fu Lam OZP No. S/H10/16 incorporating the amendments is now available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters of the Planning Department in North Point and Sha Tin, the Hong Kong District Planning Office, and the Southern District Office.

Any person can make written representation in respect of the amendments to the Secretary of the Board on or before November 15. Representations made to the Board will be made available for public inspection.

Copies of the draft Pok Fu Lam OZP are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. The electronic version of the OZP can be viewed at the Board’s website (www.info.gov.hk/tpb).
