SCMA to visit Beijing and Tianjin

   The Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Patrick Nip, will visit Beijing and Tianjin from September 13 to 14. He will meet with officials of the relevant ministry and municipal governments to exchange views on enhancing co-operation and working relations.

   Mr Nip will also officiate at the opening ceremony of the Tianjin Liaison Unit-cum-gala lunch to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as well as the opening ceremony of the "Together · Progress · Opportunity" Exhibition in Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Return of Hong Kong to the Motherland in Tianjin.

     Mr Nip will return to Hong Kong in the evening on September 14. During his absence, the Under Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Mr Andy Chan, will be the Acting Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs.
