Latest updates of special arrangements for collection of UK student visas

     Hongkong Post today (September 8) announced that the special counter for collection of United Kingdom (UK) student visas set up at counter No. 30, 1/F, General Post Office (GPO) and the temporary hotline will operate on September 9 (Saturday) and September 10 (Sunday) from 8am to 8pm. They will continue their operations on September 11 (Monday) until further notice. Hongkong Post would like to call on the addressees to collect their mail items at the GPO as soon as possible.

     From September 6 until 12pm today, 930 recipients had collected their mail items at the counter while around 400 mail items had been successfully delivered. In addition, about 350 enquiries have been handled by Hongkong Post's temporary hotline. A new batch of Local CourierPost mail items including about 370 items posted by the visa processing centre was received by Hongkong Post today and their mail item numbers have already been uploaded onto the website.

     Hongkong Post would like to remind all applicants who have received an email notification from the visa processing centre to confirm whether their mail items have reached Hongkong Post by checking the list specially posted on the Hongkong Post website for this purpose before coming to collect their mail items or arranging door delivery.
