     As Tropical Cyclone Pakhar is moving away from Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Observatory replaced the No. 8 Southeast Gale or Storm Signal issued at 5.10am today (August 27), by the Strong Wind Signal No.3 at 1.40pm.

     Public transport service has gradually resumed normal.

     As at 1.30pm, the 1823 Government Call Centre has received 236 reports of fallen trees.

     As at 1.10pm, a total of 429 people have sought refuge at 27 temporary shelters operated by the Home Affairs Department.

     According to the Hospital Authority, as at 1.45pm, a total of 62 people, including 32 males and 30 females, aged between 19 and 89, have sought medical treatment at the Accident and Emergency Departments at public hospitals during the typhoon period.

     On air traffic, the Airport Authority Hong Kong reported that around 300 flights have been cancelled or delayed, and around 30 diverted to other places so far.

     The Drainage Services Department has received 16 reports of flooding as at 2pm. One report of landslide has been received so far.
